- Contract Hire
Contract Hire provides the full reward of use of the equipment at a beneficial price without many of the risks of ownership.
Today, more and more companies are focusing on core business and pro-actively manage their balance sheets. Contract hire is an off-balance sheet method of funding used to improve gearing and other balance sheet ratios. Rentals are reduced due to another party taking a residual value and obtaining tax benefits on the forklift. Further more, a fixed rental agreed at the outset will cover the finance and the maintenance of the forklift truck.
- Lease Purchase
Lease purchase, a form of hire purchase, provides ultimate ownership of the forklift truck. It gives similar tax benefits to cash purchase, but spreads the cost with the payment fixed at the outset. As with all products, we can tailor the agreement period or repayment profiles to match specific needs, in addition with a lease purchase agreement, the interest can be offset against taxable income. At the end of the agreement ownership of the forklift truck is obtained.
- Finance Lease
Exceptionally an on balance-sheet facility maybe required without any fixed maintenance obligation. This is a hire agreement where the rentals in the primary period cover the whole of the capital outlay of your truck. At the end of the primary period, the lease enters a secondary period whereby the agreement maybe continued subject to a nominal annual rental or the truck may be sold to a third party. In which case the majority of the sales proceeds are rebated.
